Seeking work as a general laborer? Our Career Connection Center is offering a hiring event from 1-4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, at our center in Southridge Mall, 1111 E. Army Post Road, Des Moines. Work involves weekday travel through Iowa, Nebraska and Minnesota to perform industrial cleaning at ethanol plants. Shifts are 12-13 hours but no weekend work. For information, call (515) 953-6456.
